رفّ العربية يبدأ من الأذن: نسمع الكلمة ونشير إلى صورتها، ونلعب بالقافية، ونسمع أوّل صوت في الكلمة، وبعد ذلك فقط نلتقي بشكل الحرف ثمّ نحاول تتبّعه. كلّ ورقة صفحتان: صفحة للطفل، وصفحة لك فيها ثلاث جمل تقولها. الكلمات التي يقرؤها الطفل مشكولة كلّها، وجوابه بلهجة البيت جواب صحيح. ابدأ من أوراق ما قبل الروضة إن كان طفلك لا يعرف حرفًا بعد، ومن سلسلة الحروف إن كان يسمع الأصوات ويسأل عن أسمائها.

The Arabic shelf starts with the ear: hear a word and point to its picture, play with rhymes, listen for the first sound, and only then meet the shape of a letter and try to trace it. Every sheet is two pages, one for the child and one with the three lines you say. Everything the child reads is fully vowelled, and an answer in the home dialect is a right answer. Start with the Before KG sheets if your child knows no letters yet, and with the phonics series if they already hear the sounds and ask for the names.
