The answers
بَاب · قِطّ · شَمْس · بَيْت, all met on earlier sheets, deliberately. Nothing new is being asked; only that it is now unaided.
If they get stuck
Go back to the blending sheet for a day. This one has to feel like a win or it teaches the wrong thing.
Common mistakes
- The adult reading it first out of kindness. This sheet only works if you stay quiet.
- Reading from the picture. Cover the pictures if it happens.
When they finish early
Write one of the four words on a card and hide it in the house for them to find and read.
