The answers
Whatever they clap is the answer. Consistency matters more than accuracy, the same name clapped the same way twice is the win.
If they get stuck
Say the name while walking, one step per beat. The feet often find it before the hands do.
Common mistakes
- Clapping per letter rather than per beat. Say it, do not spell it.
- An adult correcting the count and ending the game.
When they finish early
Clap the names of things in the room. Find the longest one in the house.
