If they get stuck
Say only the last part of each word, exaggerated: …اب … اب. Rhyme is heard, never read.
Common mistakes
- Matching by meaning instead of sound, cat and dog, not cat and bat.
- Looking at the written word rather than listening. Cover it if that happens.
When they finish early
Sing any song they know and stop before the rhyming word. Let them supply it.
