If they get stuck

Shorten the gap between the parts until it disappears. Do not shorten the word.

Common mistakes

Repeating the two parts instead of joining them. Model it once, then wait.
Guessing from the picture rather than the sound. Cover the pictures for the first two.

When they finish early

Play it with no paper at all, in the car.
