What is on the sheet

Three labelled sorting boxes, one for each starting sound (بْ، مْ، شْ), with a note that it is the sound of the box, not the name of the letter. Below, nine cut-out pictures with their vowelled words: بَطِّيخ، مَوْز، شَمْس، بُومَة، مِلْعَقَة، شَمْعَة، بَيْت، مَاء، شَلَّال (watermelon, banana, sun, owl, spoon, candle, house, water, waterfall).

Skill: Sorting pictures by initial sound across three sounds. You will need: crayons, scissors (optional). Your role: check. Prints well in black and white.
