Who makes this, and why it is free

What this is

Kogia Kids is a library of printable activity sheets for children who are not yet in Grade 1 — before nursery, KG1 and KG2. Every sheet is written for a child whose mother tongue is Arabic, and the child-facing text is fully vocalised, because harakat are what make a word readable at the age when a child is still learning which sound a letter makes.

We stop at KG2 on purpose. Once children reach Grade 1 they have school books, a curriculum and a teacher. Before that, a parent is on their own — and that is the gap this site fills.

Who writes it

Kogia Kids is a product of KogiaGroup. The activities are written against a single curriculum brief rather than assembled from clip-art, and the pedagogy on each sheet is checked by a teacher on paper, with a real child, before it is published here.

How a sheet gets published

Every sheet moves through four stages, and the site tells you which stage each one is at rather than hiding the unfinished ones:

• Written — the brief, the learning goal and the parent guide exist.
• Designed — it has been laid out as a printable PDF.
• Proofed — a teacher has worked through the printed page with a child.
• Published — the file is live and the download works.

Only a published sheet offers a download. 5 sheets are published today; the rest are listed honestly as being written, because a button that returns a 404 costs more trust than an unfinished shelf.

Why it is free

Because the families who need it most are the least likely to pay for it. The site is designed to be paid for by advertising on the page — never inside the PDF, and never placed between you and a download button. There is no account, no email wall and no premium tier holding back the good sheets.

Printing without wasting ink

Sheets are drawn as outlines rather than filled colour, so a page costs little to print and still works in greyscale. That is a design rule we hold ourselves to, not a marketing line — you can check it by printing any sheet in black and white.
